Women's Pages - Women's Sexual Health

Sexual health is about being able to enjoy your sexuality in a way that also protects your physical and emotional health and wellbeing. If you think being a lesbian means you're safe from Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), think again! Women are at risk and need to take care of themselves and their partners. The best way to protect your own and your partner's sexual health is to practice safer sex.

Safer sex means taking precautions if you have penetrative sex, orally (cunnilingus or muffing), vaginally or anally (arse-play), either by using fingers, tongue, toys e.g. Dildo's, butt plugs, etc with a woman or man.

Safer sex means knowing the risks you face, having the knowledge to help you make choices to reduce the risks of you getting or passing on a sexually transmitted infection, or if you are bi-sexual - having an unplanned pregnancy.
